Makers On the Road!
Share
Making in the wild is admittedly much harder than this redneck thought it was gonna be! But also much more fun and interactive with nature and each other. Making art in an environment that's always changing takes a lot of patience and a Plan A - Plan Z daily! Wind, rain, wet ground, an invasion of mosquitos, the amount of solar power at any given time makes decisions one might not have been planning on. Some days it's inspiring to be outside making and some days I wonder how tf we're gonna get it done. I'm attaching several pictures of our travels, creating products, and the wonder that is solar power to hopefully give you an idea of our journey thus far.
Taking packages to the post, Welcome to PA sign:), charging our battery bank and cooking with solar power, Kate with our solar oven making burritos at the beach
So proud of the cup I just made:)
Kate making glitter hoops in our friend Katy's RV
Drilling earrings, curing earrings in our travel toaster oven being powered by our solar generator on a park table, raw earrings on a tile to be cured
Kate power clashing, charging our battery bank with solar power as she charges with Grape Nuts and blueberries
Rolling out clay for Halloween earrings, a busy making table in Chatahootchie National Forest, a bedazzled cup in the making at a local park, making flowers using molds at another local park
Making a fire even though I'm wearing a tank top, a favorite Palm Beach County park sign, a tree at our favorite campsite in Palm City, FL
Me bundled up at the most magical Christmas event in Elkin, NC, a Christmas parade in Elkin, and Kate in Philly, PA

Thanks for indulging my new collaging attempts! While my photo editing leaves a lot to be desired I hope you still get a feel of our life on the road from these photos and can feel the love and excitement as well, We're so happy we left our cute lil apartment for the open road and adventure! Thanks for being on this journey with us! Love you!!
